I watched water meet land yesterday, from so high up it looked unreal. The city of Tel Aviv boasts a densily populated coastline. Interestingly, the majority if the buildings are the same sandy off white, from what I hear its so that the owners will not have to pay a specific property tax. No matter the reasoning, it lends an air of exotic beauty to this place.
On the hour long taxi ride to Jerusalem we saw lush green grass and rolling hills. Plenty of open space making the city seem, in retrospect, all the more crowded.
We arrived at the Alkazar hotel with a few other people and promptly met with old friends from our Egypt journey. I ate a delicious kebab and surrendered to the exhaustion.
Today we are going to visit the Western Wall – more famously known as The Wailing Wall. Thank you all for your love and support of my journey through life!

  1. Had no idea you were going on another trip! Is this for work or pleasure? I also had NO IDEA you had a blog… can’t wait to read more! Thinking and missing you tons! xoxo

    1. Haha I was just explaining to a friend about how bad I was maintaining this thing, but I’m trying to be better and I figured this trip was a good opportunity. I decided to take this trip a while back-my dad and a few colleagues put it together (just like the Egypt trip) …..how cud I resist?!?!? I honestly didn’t think anyone would read this, so thanx for leaving the comment, it gives me incentive 🙂
I was home for a few days before leaving and I got your wonderful card, I think of you often and am so excited for your upcoming adventure as a mom. You will be fantastic at it! When is your due date again? Please be sure to let me know when a visit will be possible after the little one is born. No pressure obviously. All my love!
